1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Cosmetic Formulation Hub ("the Platform"), operated by Aromantic Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
The Platform is an online marketplace that connects cosmetic formulation professionals ("Providers") with businesses and individuals ("Customers") seeking cosmetic formulation services, physical products, and digital resources.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features of the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account details up to date.
4. Provider Obligations
Providers must ensure that all services, products, and digital resources listed on the Platform comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and UK cosmetics regulations. Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their deliverables, and any claims made about their products or services.
5. Customer Obligations
Customers agree to provide accurate information when placing orders or booking services. Customers acknowledge that they are responsible for verifying that products and services meet their specific regulatory requirements before bringing them to market.
6. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. The Platform charges a commission on each transaction as disclosed in the listing details. Providers receive payment after the applicable holding period. All prices are displayed in GBP unless otherwise stated. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
Providers retain ownership of their intellectual property, including formulations, recipes, and proprietary methods. By listing on the Platform, Providers grant the Platform a limited licence to display their listing content for marketing purposes. Customers receive only the rights explicitly stated in their transaction with the Provider.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a Customer and a Provider, the parties should first attempt to resolve the matter directly. If resolution cannot be reached, either party may file a dispute through the Platform. We will review disputes and may, at our discretion, issue refunds or take other action as appropriate.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform acts as an intermediary between Providers and Customers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listings, services, or products. Aromantic Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Outstanding obligations survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
